Cover it thoroughly and repeatedly before reaching for thick reference books, because mastering the defined boundary returns the most marks per hour. Reference books that wander beyond the syllabus can pull you into low-yield territory. Keep the official material as your spine and judge every extra resource by whether it strengthens that spine.
