Start With the Mark Weighting
NEET draws from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and Biology alone accounts for roughly half of the total questions. A sensible plan reflects that weighting rather than splitting time equally. Give Biology the steadiest daily slot, then balance Physics and Chemistry around it. Map the official syllabus into chapters, mark each as new, revising or mastered, and let that status decide where your hours go each week instead of studying by mood.
- List every chapter from the official syllabus before planning
- Allot the largest weekly block to Biology
- Tag each chapter as new, revising or mastered
Design a Repeating Weekly Loop
A good week has rhythm. Spend the first days learning new concepts, the middle days on focused problem practice, and reserve a fixed day for a timed test that mixes old and new topics. End the week reviewing your mistakes before the cycle restarts. This loop turns scattered effort into compounding progress, and because the structure stays the same, you spend energy on studying rather than on deciding what to study.
- Days one to three for new concepts
- Mid week for problem solving and recall
- A weekend timed test plus error review
Build In Revision Early
Many students postpone revision until the final months and then panic. Instead, fold short revision blocks into every week from the start. Revisit a previously mastered chapter for twenty minutes before learning something new, so older material stays warm. Over months this spaced contact prevents the slow forgetting that quietly erodes a score. Treat revision as maintenance, not as a separate phase you reach only at the end.
